Our Group

Shri R P Sao, a visionary from Chaibasa incorporated the conglomerate TPSL Group with an aim to prosper as a mining company. Today the group's principal activities encompass mining of minerals like Iron Ore, Manganese Ore and production of intermediates like Pig Iron - a major raw material for making steel.

Quality Assurance

Our qualified quality controllers take intensive care to ensure that our products match up with the level of market standards and norms. Considering the client needs, they conduct various quality evaluation process such as Spectrometer check and BIS Standard check to make sure that our products are free from any manufacturing defect.

Moreover, our quality team takes utmost care to ensure that our production development processes, right from raw material procurement until final product shipment conforms to industrial standards and norms. They test the finished range on parameters such as:

• Purity
• Accurate composition
• Mineral content.

We also maintain a clean environment in our production unit. Adequate facilities have been arranged to drain out irrelevant material from the unit with low environment pollution. As a part of our quality programme, we also conduct tests on iron ore at Regional Research Laboratory, Bhubaneswar and appoint renowned consultants to freeze parameters for the proposed ore beneficiary plant.

Modern Infrastructure

Thakur Prasad Sao & Sons Pvt. Ltd. infrastructure encompasses sophisticated manufacturing units, well equipped testing laboratories and advanced warehousing facility. The manufacturing units are installed with latest machinery and equipment for facilitating easy and swift processing of minerals. We also have a well-equipped in house testing unit, where all the requisite technology and machines are deployed for ascertaining the quality of manufactured products.

In addition to our manufacturing unit, we also have provision for leased units to meet urgent demands of customers within stipulated time frame. In the coming future, we plan to set up a Pelletisation Plant using Iron Ore Fines generated during mining and processing operations. For Logistical development, we also harbour the plan to establish two Railway full rake siding facility in collaboration with South Eastern Railway, Chakradharpur division.

Export Division

With the advent of increase in exports of Iron Ore Fines, we embarked on our export activities and have achieved more than 3.7 lac tonnes of cargo exports within a very short span of time. Today, we export high grade Iron Ore fines in bulk amount across numerous overseas destinations. Keeping in tune with the boom of export of Fines to various foreign markets, we have made major inroads in exports utilising the facilities through Haldia, Vizag and Paradip Ports.
